Mid-Autumn Festival in KB Mall

Celebration of Mid-Autumn festival in Kelantan, especially in KB mall was such a grand event. There are singing competition, Lantern-riddle competition, mooncake eating competition, Q and A session and lion dance show. I heard from my friends, it is a yearly event. Together with this event, all the passer-by, visitors and participants would have a chance to do some charity, tasting new flavor of mooncake, getting involve in the lantern-riddle competition and answer Questions from the stage and grab something home.

We would wanna try to answer some lantern-riddle, unfortunately we were a bit late as all the riddles were mostly being answered. As for me, I could not even read the Chinese characters written on the lantern. Hence, I gave up. Then, the Q&A session began, it was open to the floor. Guess what, I managed to pull the courage and answered one of the questions. YEAH~~ I grabbed a bag of goodies home!!

And then, we stay tuned to the next agenda of the celebration, mooncake eating competition. The rule for the competition is who finishes eating the whole mooncake in a shortest time wins. Then, the remark of the event was the lion dance.

Home Cook Lunch

Today, just like a normal weekend.
Chilling in my new house with my housemates.
Plus the day was so gloomy, it has been raining since morning.
A big bowl of hot soup with noodle,
Was my lunch of the day.

The ingredients for this bowl of soup,
Was the leftover from the steamboat,
Simple yet delicious
Satisfying our tummy.

Happy housewarming

It has been a week since I moved into my new room, my own space. Nice getting to know my two housemates. They are warmth and friendly, three of us are like sisters. Momo is like a big sister, while Kev is like my younger sister. I still remember that we have chatted through the night, and slept early in the morning, like around 7am~ In fact, this moment reminded me of my two former housemates in Adelaide, Tyng and Ever.

In my tradition, moving into a new house (which has previously been abandon for awhile) should throw a housewarming ceremony, it is just a tradition, in order to make the house more merrier. After few days planning, finally my housemates and I decided to do steamboat in my house.

Shopping for ingredients and preparing the steamboat is essential for me, as I would like to take this opportunity to thanks my ex-housemates.
